1. Mentor Vetting & Background Checks
Every mentor profile must undergo a manual verification review before going live: * **Identity & Resume Audit:** Verification of professional titles, employers, and degrees via professional credentials databases. * **Linkedin Authentication:** Required OAuth connection to verify employment history. * **Vetting Interviews:** Manual sample screenings for specific domains to guarantee high quality of instruction.
2. Escrow Protection & No-Show Refunds
To protect clients from subpar experiences and guarantee payout security to mentors, bookings are routed via an escrow system: * Mentors are paid only after successful completion of sessions. * Mentor absences trigger automatic 100% wallet refunds. * Disputes are reviewed within 48 hours by our customer success desk.
3. Account Safety & Circumvention Controls
To protect our users and maintain security, we require that all scheduling, communications, and payments occur inside the Compessly console. Sharing direct bank information, external payment links, or scheduling offline consultations bypasses our protection policies and results in account suspension.
